Memorial Message:
Age 41. Shelly's soul took flight to a better place after a strong fight with cancer. She passed in peace in the comfort of her home surrounded by her friends, family and her pets next to her. Born November 23, 1966, the daughter of Carrie Foster. She was accepted to a nursing school program which would have began in the fall. Her goal of becoming a nurse was cut short. She was active with neighborhood watch, local police and the city council to make Lansing a safer place. Her labor of love was gardening and her yard was a testament to that. Surviving are her mother. Carrie Foster; her brother, Frank Foster; nieces, nephews, many family members; and countless friends.
